Wilfried Gnonto: They have lots of quality players | OneFootball

Leeds United travel south this weekend to face Fulham at Craven Cottage, with forward Willy Gnonto highlighting the team’s determination to build on their encouraging early season performances.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Premier League Productions, the Italian international explained his thoughts ahead of the clash and reflected on the previous journey south.

“Obviously, every game away is tough but we are going to try to go and approach the game with aggression and hopefully we are going to get away with the three points,” the forward explained.

“I've watched a couple of games of theirs and I know they have lots of quality players and they've been playing Premier League for a long time, so obviously they have experience and stuff but it's going to be a good game.”

Discussing the previous trip to the capital, Gnonto said: “You have to forget it quickly. We always have another game and we have to be ready because no one is going to leave you just running away with three points. You have to go and get them.”

The 21-year-old also explained the confidence that he has in himself and his teammates during the top-flight campaign.

“I think we all believe that we can stay in the Premier League. We all believe Leeds deserve to stay in the Premier League and it's just up to us to like to go and every game to fight and compete.

“We know that we deserve to play in the Premier League. We know that we have the quality to do it and we are finally back.”
