Wolves’ early fixtures moved for TV as Black Country derby date confirmed

Wolves have seen six of their opening nine fixtures moved for television coverage, with the Black Country derby at Molineux among those selected. Following relegation, they begin life back in the Championship under Cesar Peixoto.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the season opens with a Carabao Cup first-round tie at home to Port Vale on Friday 7 August at 7.45pm, live on Sky Sports+, though not a main TV pick.
Their first Championship match, at home to Blackburn, has been set for Friday 14 August at 8pm on Sky Sports Football. The trip to Preston is unchanged, while the Molineux meeting with Stoke is now 12.30pm on Saturday 29 August on Sky Sports+.
A midweek visit to West Ham remains as scheduled. The West Midlands derby at Birmingham will now kick off at 12pm on Sunday 6 September on Sky Sports Football. Knock-on changes move the Portsmouth home game to Wednesday 9 September, with no broadcast selection.
The journey to Sheffield United has also been picked for Sky Sports Football, starting at midday on Sunday 13 September. Rounding off this round of picks, the Albion derby at Molineux is confirmed for midday on Sunday 20 September.
