Wolves are reportedly eyeing a move for Torino forward, Che Adams, as they look to win promotion back into the Premier League next season.
Wolves will be preparing for life back in the Championship, after their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed on Monday evening.
Their return to the Championship was finalised on Monday, as West Ham United secured a point against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, which sent Rob Edwards' side back into the second-tier.
It brings an end to an eight-year spell in the Premier League, after they gained promotion into the top-flight in the 2017/18 league campaign, which was a memorable season for the club's supporters.
It's set to be an intriguing summer ahead at Wolves, as it's likely that they'll have to rebuild their squad ahead of their promotion bid next term.
Plenty of Rob Edwards' squad have been linked with a move away from the club already, and replacements will be needed at the earliest of opportunities.
It seems clear that Wolves are chasing a striker to fire them back into the Premier League at the first time of asking, and there's a potential deal that could excite the club's fanbase.

According to a recent report from BBC Sport has revealed that Wolves are set to reignite their transfer interest in Torino forward, Che Adams.
The Scottish international has scored seven goals in all competitions for the Italian side this season, and it seems as though his good run of form in front of goal hasn't gone unnoticed.
Adams has plenty of experience in English football, having made a name for himself with the likes of Birmingham City and Southampton earlier in his professional career.
A hugely impressive spell with Birmingham in the 2017/18 season saw him earn a move to Southampton in the Premier League, and so he's a player that can certainly add quality to Wolves' attacking options. Adams then helped the Saints get back up to the top-tier in the 2023/24 campaign, with that promotion-winning experience likely to appeal to the Old Gold in their efforts to launch an instant return.

Adams is a player that Wolves have admired previously, with Rob Edwards pursuing a deal to land his signature during the January transfer window, although for one reason or another, the move failed to materialise in the New Year.
Wolves could certainly add much-needed quality to their frontline, especially when the likes of Hwang Hee-Chan are being linked with a move away from the club.
Apart from Chan, the only other out and out striker with considerable experience in English football is Adam Armstrong, who could certainly benefit from having a player of Adams' quality playing alongside him.
Tolu Arokodare has found it tough to score goals on a regular basis since signing for the club in September 2025, and it'll be interesting to see if he's pushed down the pecking order in Rob Edwards' plans if Adams was to arrive. He's another player who has been linked with the exit door, too, with a rebuild set to commence in the Black Country.
It's claimed that Wolves are set to hold internal talks with Adams in the near future, and so a deal could progress relatively quickly, especially if the forward is keen on moving on from Torino this summer.
Adams is contracted with Torino until the summer of 2027, and so an agreement could potentially be available at a cut-price fee compared to what they were quoted previously.
