Worthing boss Agutter among those being considered for Sutton United job

Worthing boss Chris Agutter is among those in the frame for the Sutton United job, Hayters.com understands.

Sutton are looking for a new boss after parting ways with Steve Morison last week.

The U’s have suffered seven defeats in the first ten games of the National League season, currently sitting second from bottom.

Agutter has been in charge at National League South side Worthing since May last year, and steered the club to a fourth-placed finish last season, missing out on the title by a point and eventually losing out on promotion in the play-offs.

He previously had two spells in charge of Hastings United, and has also worked as a coach at Stevenage, having started out as a youth team manager at Brighton & Hove Albion.
