In Amad, Manchester United have found the perfect wingback with Ruben Amorim playing him on the right flank.

However, the head coach is yet to zero in on the perfect left wingback. Diogo Dalot has been the preferred option, but he has struggled when going forward.

Patrick Dorgu, despite his recent impressive form, has blown hot and cold, and it is clear that he is a raw talent in need of more time.

Harry Amass was handed his debut last season, but has been sent out on loan to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship. And there are no plans of recalling him from his loan stint.

Yisa Alao transfer battle

INEOS have always preferred signing young players over the finished article, and they have now been linked with a swoop for Sporting CP’s Salvador Blopa, as well as Amass’ teammate at the Hillsborough Stadium, Yisa Alao.

Both United and Liverpool had expressed their interest in Yisa Alao, with The Daily Mail revealing that the Red Devils have submitted a £450,000 bid for the 17-year-old.

The Merseysiders are in no mood to lose out, and have submitted their own offer in a bid to hijack United’s deal.

“United have offered £450,000 for Sheffield Wednesday left back prospect Yisa Alao.”

United should win given their help with Amass loan deal

“Liverpool have also made an offer for Sheffield Wednesday’s 17-year-old left back Yisa Alao.”

Despite being only 17, the Doncaster-born wonderkid already has three senior appearances under his belt, with one coming in the Championship and two in the EFL Cup.

It is well known that The Owls are struggling financially, and United are hoping to take advantage of that.

Given Amass’ loan deal is completely being covered by the Old Trafford side, they will be quietly optimistic of winning the race.
