Gabri Martínez then had a finish ruled out after a VAR review later in the first half.

Paulinho Boia levelled with a low strike from the left side of the area (59.), set up by Andre Sousa.

Ricardo Horta hit the right post later in the half. Kaíque made key stops to deny Victor Gomez and Zalazar as Braga pressed. Lukas Hornicek kept out efforts from Matheus Dias and Boia before the interval.

A handball by Matheus Dias in added time brought a penalty. VAR confirmed the spot kick. Zalazar converted in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time, lifting his effort high through the middle.

Braga finished with 20 attempts, eight on target, and 63.2% possession. Nacional registered 14 attempts with five on target.

Next, Nacional visit Moreirense. Braga host Sporting CP next.
