Gabi Zanotti drew level with Grazi as Corinthians’ record appearance maker, starting the 3-1 win over Botafogo in the Brasileirão Feminino’s fifth round to reach 258 games.

“I am very happy to reach a milestone like this, drawing level with a legend like Grazi, who did so much for the club. Back then, I did not imagine I would reach this number, but I feel honoured and happy to be able to contribute to Corinthians,” she said in an interview with the club website.

Across those matches, she has started 207 times and recorded 200 wins, 38 draws and 20 defeats, an 82.43% points return. The attacking midfielder has 89 goals, the team’s second-highest scorer, plus 34 assists. She has won 18 trophies, more than any Corinthians player, men or women.

She also headed Corinthians’ second goal at 34 minutes, meeting Andressa Alves’s cross. The strike was the 1300th in the Brabas’ history.

Corinthians host Red Bull Bragantino at 21:00 on Friday three April in round six of the Brasileirão Feminino, with the venue still to be confirmed.
