Zubimendi in at 86th as Zubieta returns to CIES top 100 | OneFootball

According to Diario Vasco, there are no current Real Sociedad players in CIES Football Observatory’s latest top 100 by market value. Zubieta is still represented, with Martin Zubimendi entering at 86th on 65.9 million euros.

Alexander Isak ranks far higher after his summer move from Newcastle to Liverpool, his market value set at 95 million euros.

Isak has not yet been able to fully show his talent at Liverpool and, due to a serious injury, looks likely to miss the rest of the season.

Curiously, both Zubimendi and Isak are valued below the fees paid last summer. Arsenal will pay Real 70 million euros in instalments for the midfielder, while Liverpool spent 144 million euros on the Swede, with close to eight million reaching Real Sociedad.

The current top 10 comprises Lamine Yamal 343 million euros, Haaland 255, Mbappé 201, Bellingham 153, Olise 137, Wirtz 135, Doué 134, Joao Neves 130, Arda Güler 130 and Pedri González 130.

Yamal has replaced Bellingham at the summit after the latter topped the list last year.

During Imanol Alguacil’s best spells, Real regularly featured in this top 100. Oyarzabal reached 83.2 million in 2020, now he sits below 30. Isak also appeared while at the club and Take Kubo was valued at 99.8 million euros in January 2024.

Among LaLiga’s 23 most valued players, only Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid are represented, with none from Real Sociedad, Villarreal, Betis or Athletic.
