Manchester United had numerous players involved in international action on Friday night.

Senne Lammens

The Belgian keeper had a moment to forget in the World Cup when his error allowed Spain to score a late winner in their quarter-final match.

Lammens was much more like his normal self last night, as he kept a clean sheet in Belgium’s 2-0 away win against Italy.

He made six saves, with four of those coming from shots inside the box. There was one effort he kept out with his feet in a David de Gea-esque action, which prevented an almost certain goal.

Lammens also had a passing accuracy of 71% on the night, as Belgium started their Nations League campaign in perfect fashion.

Youri Tielemans

United’s new signing also played the 90 minutes against the Italians.

He completed 81% of his passes and had two shots on goal, one of which was blocked.

Tielemans worked hard defensively, making two clearances, two blocks, and two interceptions. He also won both his aerial duels in a competitive match.

Noussair Mazraoui

The Moroccan scored a rare goal as the AFCON champions beat Gabon 2-0.

His long-range effort bamboozled the Gabon keeper and nestled into the back of the net.

The full-back made one key pass and completed 100% of his tackles in the match.

He also won four duels and completed an impressive 96% of his passes.

Altay Bayindir

The Turkish keeper has not yet played for his loan side Celta Vigo, but he was in action for Turkey against France.

In the match, he played the final 10 minutes and had one save to make. The French had already taken the lead through Kylian Mbappé earlier in the match.

Jacob Devaney

The young Irish midfielder is on loan at Hibernian in Scotland and played for Ireland under-21s in their impressive 2-0 win away to Slovakia.

He made one key pass, winning two tackles and three duels in the match.
