19,623 Pints of beer during the match against OL: A new record for Sparta Prague!

A new initiative at Sparta Prague for the 2026/27 season. For the 2026/27 season, Sparta Prague has launched a new X account called “Sparta Beyond 90”, which shares key figures after every match covering everything beyond the sporting side of the game.
It is an opportunity to discover some interesting statistics about the club's supporters, consumption at the epet ARENA, fans' preferences and much more.
Here is an overview of the first key figures of the season, including a new record for beer consumption at the stadium.
Among the key figures of the season, Sparta Prague broke its beer consumption record during the match against Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League qualifying rounds.
The previous record had dated back to 19 March 2026, during the Conference League Round of 16 match against AZ Alkmaar.
That record was first broken on Matchday 1 of the 2026/27 league season against Zlín, with 17,784 half-litres of beer consumed — an increase of 14.6%.
Just four days later, a new record was set against Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League qualifying rounds, with 19,623 half-litres of beer consumed at the stadium — the equivalent of 9,811.5 litres — for an attendance of 17,515 spectators at the epet ARENA.
Sparta Prague has shared figures for each of its first three matches of the season. As a reminder, the epet ARENA has a capacity of 18,262, including 698 VIP seats.
