2 Barcelona stars ‘can’t play 90 minutes’ vs Girona | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that two returning members of his squad are not ready to see out the full 90 minutes of the club’s next outing.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action this weekend.

In the club’s first outing post-international break, the Catalans will play host to Catalan rivals Girona, in a La Liga clash.

Barca head into the matchup with sights on a bounce-back result, following back-to-back defeats in their most recent pair of fixtures.

In efforts towards as much, though, two members of the Blaugrana’s squad will not be able to see out the entirety of proceedings.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, Hansi Flick confirmed that both Lamine Yamal and Fermín López are back available for selection.

The German tactician also admitted, however, that:

“Lamine and Fermín are back, but they won’t be able to play 90 minutes. We need to look for players who can start.”
