The European winter window shut on 2 February 2026, yet clubs can still add out-of-contract players if a registration slot and capacity on the wage bill are available.
Transfermarkt states that a 20-strong pool features internationals with top-league pedigree, immediate impact potential and market values still of note.
As free agents, they can sign at any time provided there is space in the squad. Some are match sharp, others have not played for months.
Names include Raheem Sterling, Felipe Carballo, Kurt Zouma, César Araújo, Peter Olayinka, Amine Bassi, Matías Rojas and Jesús Medina. Also on the list are Rey Manaj, Andrés Vombergar, Jesse Lingard, James Rodríguez, Felipe Jonatan, Ryan Kent, Dele Alli, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Serge Aurier and Sergio Ramos.
Former Valencia pair Paco Alcácer and Juan Bernat also feature, and along with Dele Alli and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been unattached since the summer window closed. The cohort offers options for European sides as well as MLS, South American and Asian clubs. It underlines a growing trend of seasoned and elite talents becoming available mid-season or after contract expiry.
