The center-back is one of the positions that FC Barcelona are set to try to bolster in the upcoming summer transfer window, and their priority remains the Italian center-back Alessandro Bastoni.

The Catalans have him as a top target, while the player himself is also keen to don the Blaugrana jersey. However, Inter Milan are for now holding out on his €70 valuation for now, and it remains to be seen whether Barcelona would be able to afford him.

Meanwhile, the Catalan side is being linked with some other center-backs as well, and as Mundo Deportivo has reported, one recent addition to this list has been that of the Real Betis defender Natan, who is having quite a good season.

The Brazilian is a fixed starter for Manuel Pellegrini, and has played over 2500 minutes in 29 La Liga games and another 765 minutes in 9 UEFA Europa League games this season. His positioning, physique, ball distribution, speed, and tackling all make him a highly attractive defender.

The 25-yearold center-back is also being linked with some Premier League sides, and Betis are hoping to get €35 million for him, while his entourage believes he can also leave for around €30 million.

It remains to be seen whether Barcelona would have him in their squad for the next season, but they might have to face Natan as an opponent soon, when they face Betis in two weeks’ time.
