3 Barcelona stars ruled out of final game of the season | OneFootball

A trio of Barcelona stars will play no part in the club’s final outing of the La Liga campaign this weekend.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona are of course set to bring the curtain down on what has been a hugely successful domestic campaign this coming Sunday.

With all of the La Liga title, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup in the bag, the Blaugrana will make the trip to the Basque Country, for a meeting with former manager Ernesto Valverde’s Athletic Club.

A number of up-and-coming talents are expected to be called up by Hansi Flick for the clash, with rotation looking likely in Barca’s XI.

Playing no part at San Mamés, though, will be a further trio of stars.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, owing to respective hamstring and knee injuries, and a recent surgery to solve a case of appendicitis:

‘Jules Koundé, Marc Bernal and Ferran Torres have been ruled out of the San Mamés match.’
