There are a host of talented players available for free this summer.
QPR are one of several Championship clubs who will be expecting significant progress on the pitch next season after an underwhelming end to their campaign.
There were points when Julien Stephan's side teased with the play-off places, but ultimately the Hoops drifted to a 15th-placed finish, falling 13 points short of sixth-placed Hull City.
If the R's are going to make progress next term, then it is paramount that they complete solid business in the upcoming transfer window, but the club cannot go on a significant spending spree.
With that in mind, the West London outfit must have their eyes on five players who will be available as free agents this summer, with some reputable names available - FLW takes a look at some potential targets.

Dennis Cirkin is one of several players who have paid the price for Sunderland's success, with the left-back's time at the Stadium of Light ending when his contract runs out at the end of June.
The defender played a significant part in the Wearsiders' rise from League One to the Premier League and made eight top-flight appearances under Regis Le Bris.
QPR would be wise to make a move for the 24-year-old as he was one of the standout left-backs in the Black Cats' 2024/25 Championship campaign, with his ability to turn defence into attack a standout trait - left-back is also an area the Hoops are lacking in after Rhys Norrington-Davies' loan spell ended.

If QPR can't land Cirkin, then they could look abroad and make a move for someone in the ilk of Arthur Zagre.
With the Burkina Faso international's contract at Dutch club Excelsior expiring, someone can pick the 24-year-old up for nothing, and after four goals and two assists in the Eredivisie, Zagre could provide some attacking nous at left-back.
Having come through the youth system of European champions PSG, Zagre would come with serious pedigree and still has some potential, so if the R's have drawn up a list of left-back options, he simply HAS to be on there.

One player who has never lived up to the hype is Tom Davies, who will leave Sheffield United as a free agent this summer after three disappointing years at Bramall Lane.
Davies showed significant potential during his early days at Everton, but the Premier League was perhaps a stretch too far for the midfielder, who struggled for regular playing time.
At 27, the Englishman's next move is key if he is to revitalise his career and, with something to prove, he may well be worth a punt if the R's are interested - injury issues though have hampered his career.

Another left-back who would be worth pursuing is Sheffield Wednesday's Max Lowe, who faces an uncertain future at Hillsborough.
When the Owls announced their released and retained list, they stated that talks remained ongoing with Lowe, and according to The Wednesday Word, the club are still confident of securing a contract ahead of their League One return.

Jairo Riedewald is set to leave Bramall Lane after just one season with Sheffield United, and he could beef up QPR's midfield this summer on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old made 25 Championship appearances last term, notching three goals and an assist, while he ranked in the top eight per cent of defensive-midfielders for duels won, as per Fotmob.
Riedewald has European experience, having represented Ajax in the Champions League and Europa League and also has Premier League pedigree from his time across London at Crystal Palace.
