The Egyptian Football Association has announced Kareem Ahmed's first call-up to the U20 squad for friendlies against Iraq (February 24 and 28) as part of preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

- Born on February 17, 2007, the 19-year-old striker operates as a forward.

- He joined Liverpool's academy at the age of 6, steadily climbing the ranks to eventually don the U18 shirt.

- He signed his first professional contract with the Reds in the summer of 2025 and was integrated into the U21 squad.

- The right-footer has played 5 matches in all competitions this season (scoring 1 goal) and has made two appearances in Premier League 2 (21 minutes in total).
