Nusa back in full training - Focus fully on Freiburg

The group out on the pitch is noticeably bigger than it was in December. The standout positive was that Antonio Nusa is back fully involved in team training.

That continues the run of returnees in recent days, with Ezechiel Banzuzi, Assan Ouedraogo and Ridle Baku all already making their comebacks. That means Ole Werner has significantly more options available for the first game of the year against Freiburg.

Saturday afternoon’s scheduled away match at FC St. Pauli was called off on Friday, meaning RBL’s first Bundesliga game of 2026 will now take place on Wednesday.
