According to information published by La Gazette du Fennec, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has planned an exceptional bonus for the Swiss tactician if he secures the continental title.

200,000 euros awaits Petkovic if he clinches the African crown

The same source reports that Vladimir Petković will receive a bonus of 200,000 euros should he succeed in leading the Greens to the pinnacle of African football—an achievement Algeria has not tasted since 2019, under Djamel Belmadi, during the AFCON held in Egypt.

Since taking charge of the national team, Petković has overseen 18 matches with an impressive record: 13 wins, 3 draws, and only 2 defeats. Over this period, the Fennecs have scored 46 goals and conceded 18.
