Kamil Grabara has broken his silence after suffering a long-term cruciate ligament injury, meaning he will not play for Juventus again before his loan spell at the club ends.

He joined Juventus on loan from Wolfsburg and had been confident that he would do enough to convince the Bianconeri to keep him in their squad. Just a week ago, he was in superb form on his debut against NEC.

He looked assured and confident in goal, which led to him providing an assist for one of the goals the Bianconeri scored in that match. His performance appeared to provide an encouraging start to his time at the club.

Luciano Spalletti was impressed with his display and was ready to stick with the former Liverpool youngster for their European campaign. However, Grabara suffered an injury as the team prepared for the match against Atalanta at the weekend and will now be sidelined for up to a year.

Grabara begins long road to recovery

Grabara has undergone surgery at the club, and the procedure was successful. The long road to recovery now begins, while Juventus has already lined up a move for Neto to come in and replace him in their squad.

His message comes after a difficult period for the goalkeeper, who had only recently made his Juventus debut and impressed with his performance.

Grabara will now focus on his recovery after undergoing successful surgery. Juventus, meanwhile, has already moved to address his absence by lining up Neto as a replacement in the squad.
