A recent departure from the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was spotted back in attendance at the Santiago Bernabéu for the club’s most recent outing on Sunday.

The player in question? Dani Ceballos.

Midfielder Ceballos of course saw his stint in the famed white of Real Madrid brought to a premature end earlier this summer. After it was made clear to the Spaniard that he did not feature in the plans of the incoming José Mourinho, Ceballos agreed to terminate the final year on his contract.

The one-time Arsenal man has remained a free agent since, despite links with a whole host of clubs across La Liga and Europe alike.

And as alluded to above, on Sunday, Ceballos took full advantage of his unattached status at present…

Real Madrid were back in action earlier this evening, welcoming newly promoted Málaga to Spain’s capital for a league clash. And en route to an eventual 4-0 romp for Los Merengues, the club’s former engine room star was watching on from the stands, cheering on his friends and ex-teammates at the Bernabéu:
