Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has called on his charges to show killer instinct in front of goals.
The Buccaneers will lock horns with Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in a top-of-the-table Betway Premiership clash on Saturday.
Pirates head into the match sitting in third place, with two games in hand and three points behind the defending champions, who are at the summit, having accumulated 21 points in 10 league outings.
With the match looming, the former Morocco international urged his troops to stop joking and be deadly in the final third, highlighting the importance of goal difference in a title race.
“I think we don't have to be worried [about missing chances]. It's just as a coach I want to attract the attention of my players that football is scoring goals and when you have the possibility to score goals - score goals because like I said before at the end of the league, every goal is important,” said Ouaddou.
"So, don't joke, we are not here to joke, we are here to perform, we are here to give results. So, if somebody wants to enjoy to joke [then] no problem he can go to make five-a-side with his colleagues but we are not here to joke, we are here to reach some targets.
The two PSL juggernauts have already met in the MTN8 semi-final this season, with both matches of the two-legged tie ending in a one-all draw.
