Orlando Pirates Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has hinted at squad rotation ahead of the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Saturday (15h00).
The Limpopo-based outfit is the home team in this fixture, and the club opted to host the encounter at the renowned Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Meanwhile, with games coming thick and fast for the Soweto giants, the cup tie against the third-tier outfit presents a perfect window for Ouaddou to rest some key figures.
“When you are a coach of such a big club, and with talented players, the tactical side, the technical side, the fitness is very important to keep everybody fit,” said the Bucs mentor.
"But one area that is very important is the management, you are managing adults, you are managing footballers who want to play. So, of course, we may have some rotation in order to keep everybody involved in the project.
Having lost in the final against bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs under Jose Riveiro last season, Pirates will be eager to clinch the trophy this campaign.
The Buccaneers have already lifted the MTN8 and the Carling Knockout Cup this season - their first League Cup title since the 2011/12 term.
