Palmeiras trained on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s Copa do Brasil quarter-final first leg against Santos at Nubank Parque. According to Nosso Palestra, Abel Ferreira could welcome left-back Piquerez and forward Paulinho, in physical transition, after both joined most of the session.
The staff ran tactical drills on build-up play, movements, marking and game simulations. New goalkeeper Bruno Bertinato completed his first group workout after signing from Portuguesa, announced on Tuesday.
Goalkeeper Carlos Miguel marked one year since arriving on 19 August 2025 and now has 56 appearances, 44 this season. He thanked club staff for their support and said he will keep working to extend his spell.
