AC Milan deal Barcelona a transfer blow | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have this weekend been dealt something of a blow on the transfer front.

This comes amid confirmation that the Rossoneri do not intend to move for Marc-André ter Stegen this summer.

Goalkeeper Ter Stegen’s name had been linked with that of Milan over the course of recent weeks.

This comes as the brass at San Siro prepare for an alleged sale of star no.1 Mike Maignan to Premier League outfit Chelsea.

Barca’s long-time first-choice shot-stopper, in turn, was named as a potential replacement.

Any such move on Milan’s part would have marked a major boost for those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou, who have long come to the decision to push Ter Stegen towards the exit door this summer.

As per a report from Diario Sport, though:

‘The Italians are looking for replacements in the Italian domestic market and the German is not in their plans.’
