Barcelona on alert as long-term transfer target ‘wants to leave’ Serie A | OneFootball

Those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona will no doubt be interested to hear of the latest word stemming from the camp at Italian heavyweights AC Milan.

This comes amid confirmation that Rafael Leão has set his sights on a summer departure from San Siro.

The name of wide-man Leão has of course long proven a prominent one in the media headlines in Catalunya’s capital.

This comes with Barcelona, time and time again, having been named as keen admirers of the talents boasted by the explosive Portuguese international.

And if the latest word stemming from the press on Friday is anything to go by, then this summer could prove the Blaugrana’s best chance yet at actually striking a deal.

As per a report from transfer insider Florian Plettenberg of Sky:

‘Rafael Leão wants to leave AC Milan – and the club have been informed! Understand they want at least €70m guaranteed.’

Bayern Munich, meanwhile, are also noted as a potential landing spot for Leão for the 2025/26 campaign.
