Gazzetta suggests that AC Milan and Divock Origi have agreed to terminate the 30-year-old Belgian forward’s contract.
Origi joined on a free from Liverpool in summer 2022, and last featured on 28 May 2023 in a 1-0 win at Juventus.
A season on loan at Nottingham Forest brought one goal and one assist in 22 appearances, and did little to revive his Milan career. In total he played 36 times for the Rossoneri, scoring two goals with one assist.
The agreement would ease Milan’s wage bill, with Origi earning more than 300,000 euros a month.
The report also said he resisted moves away, citing tax considerations, and had stopped training with the club. He instead worked with a personal fitness coach and was living between Rome and Florence.
