Reportedly set to join Fulham, Samuel Chukwueze has yet to arrive in England for reasons that remain unclear.

Negotiations between AC Milan and Fulham for the transfer of Samuel Chukwueze have stalled in recent hours. This situation is expected to be temporary, considering the Rossoneri's offensive situation ahead of their clash with Lecce tonight. With Leao out and Pulisic benched due to an ankle issue, the Nigerian winger is currently the only experienced attacking reinforcement available on the bench.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto in their Friday morning YouTube video, talks have been put on hold for this reason. Contacts between the two clubs, it appears, were frequent and consistent between Tuesday and Wednesday.

A basic agreement has been reached for a loan with an option to buy. The total cost of the Chukwueze deal would be €25 million. Once the final whistle blows between AC Milan and Lecce, talks are expected to resume in order to finalize the move.
