Wolves striker Adam Armstrong spent Sunday evening out with a group of Wrexham players as the club marked its season finale.
The 29-year-old, who has one goal in 13 appearances since a move from Southampton worth around £7 million, was pictured with Altrincham winger Anthony Forde. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the get-together coincided with Wrexham’s black tie gala at the four star Carden Park resort in Cheshire.
Forde came through Wolves’ academy before winning back-to-back promotions with the North Wales side.
Former Wrexham defender Eoghan O’Connell was also present, along with Elliot Lee, Andy Cannon and Tom O’Connor, the latter trio all having spent time out on loan this season.
Lee enjoyed a successful spell at Doncaster Rovers in the second half of the campaign.
Cannon impressed during a five-month stint at Burton Albion.
O’Connor has been sidelined since January, but featured in more than a dozen early-season matches for Peterborough United.
O’Connell was released early in the season, then joined League One Barnsley on a permanent deal in January.
With their seasons now finished, the group took the chance to relax. Armstrong was due back at Compton today for training, with already relegated Wolves travelling to Brighton on Saturday seeking a first win in seven.
