West Ham, relegated after a 14-year stay in the top flight, said in a statement that Adama Traore and Lukasz Fabianski will leave on free transfers when their deals expire on 30 June.

The retained list follows their drop to the Championship, which came despite a final-day 3-0 home win over newly promoted Leeds United, who had secured safety with three matches remaining.

Polish keeper Fabianski first spent seven seasons with the club from 2018 to 2025, winning Hammer of the Year in 2019 and being part of the squad that lifted the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2023. He returned on a one-year deal in September 2025 and is 41.

Spanish winger Traore arrived from Fulham in January, made 12 appearances, started three Emirates FA Cup ties with assists against Brentford and Leeds United, and featured as a Premier League substitute nine times.

French centre-back Axel Disasi will return to Chelsea at the end of his loan after 17 appearances across the Premier League and FA Cup, scoring against Leeds in the sixth round.

Development squad players Michael Forbes, Junior Robinson, Tyron Akpata, Daniel Rigge, David Chigwada and Tom Wooster will also depart this summer, with academy scholar Jonathan Unwin to leave on 30 June.
