Adama Traoré ‘offered’ to Valencia as Ramazani route stays open

Adama Traoré has been offered to Valencia as a free option for the wing, with Carlos Corberán still seeking reinforcements and the Largie Ramazani route unresolved. According to La Colina De Nervion, the 30-year-old is available after leaving West Ham.

His status changes the equation. Valencia would not need to pay a fee, unlike with Ramazani, whose rights belong to Leeds United, so talks could be held directly with the player.

Traoré left West Ham on 30 June, having arrived from Fulham in January. His London spell brought 12 appearances, three FA Cup starts and nine Premier League cameos.

A La Masia graduate, he debuted for Barcelona in 2013, then spent most of his career in England with Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Wolverhampton, Fulham and West Ham, plus a 2021/22 loan back to Barça.

His profile offers power, dribbling and one-on-one threat. Valencia earmarked the right wing after Ramazani returned to Leeds and Diego López was injured, and that slot remains open.

Arriving as a free agent removes a transfer fee, though wages and contract terms would be decisive if Valencia advance.

Ramazani’s case still frames the timing. The Belgian joined on loan in August 2025 and finished LaLiga with six goals and one assist, and he has hinted at a return, replying "falta uno" to a social post.

Leeds prefer a sale and Ramazani is under contract until 2028, while Valencia have not pursued that formula. Traoré is not exclusive to Valencia, with Deportivo de La Coruña sounding out terms, though nothing is agreed. A decision looms before the window shuts.
