Adidas ‘to replace’ Puma as Marseille kit supplier from 2028-29

According to AFP, Adidas will return as Olympique de Marseille’s kit supplier from 2028-29, replacing Puma.

The German brand is set to resume a long association with the club, which ran from 1974 to 2018, except between 1994 and 1996. Marseille last wore Adidas in 2017-18, a season that included a Europa League final.

Puma took over in 2018. The club declined to comment on the reported switch, and the length of the new contract is not yet known.

The value has not been disclosed but is said to be significantly higher, nearly double Puma’s.

Puma’s agreement with Marseille was valued at around 20-25 million euros per year following an extension in 2023.
