Leeds United Women are back in Adobe Women's FA Cup action this Sunday, welcoming tier-above West Bromwich Albion Women to Garforth in the third round.

The Whites progressed to this stage of the competition by securing the West Yorkshire derby bragging rights against Huddersfield Town Women away from home in the second round, running out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Sian Gibrill-Keating, Izzy Elliott and Drew Greene.

Last time out, Simon Wood's side were victorious in their third visit to Norton & Stockton Ancients Ladies this campaign. Izzy Elliott and Kath Smith converted, before the Norton 'keeper conceded a 90th minute own-goal to ensure all three points returned to Leeds.

Our visitors are coming in off the back of a goalless draw at home to Loughborough Lightning Women, and before that, a 1-0 loss at home to Halifax Women. To get to this stage in the FA Cup, the Baggies defeated Cambridge United 2-0.

The two sides have already met this season when Leeds bowed out of the FA Women's National League Cup after losing 4-2 on penalties, following Alice Hughes' opener in a 1-1 draw over 90 minutes.

Action from the Bannister Prentice Stadium gets underway at 2pm.

Ahead of the game, Whites defender Izzy Elliott said: "I'm feeling really excited going into the game this weekend. Obviously, we know what we need to change and work on from last time we played, but coming off a win this weekend, we're already in high spirits and feeling really positive.

“These types of games are where you learn the most from, especially against a team that we've played previously."
