AFC Wimbledon forward Osman Foyo has been handed a five-month ban from football for breaching the FA’s betting regulations.
Foyo, 21, was charged back in July, alleged to have placed bets on games on 252 occasions.
That period spanned from October 29, 2023 to March 28, 2025.
Foyo admitted to the charges, and he will serve an initial one month of his ban, with the other four being suspended until April 2, 2027.
The remaining months of the ban will be triggered should he breach any of the FA’s betting rules further.
The striker will now be unavailable until November 2, 2025.
Netherlands-born Foyo began his youth career with Chelsea, before moving to Norwich.
He then jumped across East Anglia to Ipswich, where he spent three years out on loan before sealing a permanent move to Wimbledon after impressing with Chelmsford City.
He made six appearances for Johnnie Jackson’s side in the Dons’ promotion back to League One.
