We're just hours away from the AFCON 2025 final. To take charge of the showdown between Senegal and Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, CAF has appointed Jean-Jacques Ndala. The Congolese referee, who already officiated the tournament's opening match between Morocco and Comoros as well as the Tanzania–Tunisia group stage clash, was chosen over Sudan's Mahmood Ismail.

Jean-Jacques Ndala is 38 years old and is set to experience his first Africa Cup of Nations final, bringing with him a wealth of experience on the continental stage. Known for his composure and authority, he will be supported by his compatriots Guylain Bongele Ngila and Gradel Mwanya Mbilizi. In the VAR booth, Gabon's Pierre Atcho will be under particular scrutiny after a controversial quarter-final performance marked by a decision that drew widespread criticism.
