Afolayan double sinks Millwall as Gudjohnsen strikes in stoppage time | OneFootball

Blackburn Rovers beat Millwall 3-1 at Ewood Park as Oladapo Afolayan struck twice and Andri Gudjohnsen added a stoppage time clincher to lift the hosts to eight points in the Championship.

In the 41st minute, Oladapo Afolayan steered in from the centre of the box after Sam Morsy's pass to open the scoring.

Tairyk Arconte drew a penalty (51.) after a foul by Gady Beyuku. Lyndon Dykes converted from the spot.

Afolayan restored the lead with a low left-footer from outside the area (58.), set up by Tom Atcheson.

Substitute Andri Gudjohnsen sealed it on the break in the third minute of second half stoppage time, turning in Jayden Fevrier's pass.

Blackburn Rovers registered 18 attempts and forced six corners. The Lions had 55.2% possession and produced only two shots on target despite delivering 22 crosses.
