After Conquering Europe: PSG look to the future through Portugal’s next gem
Paris Saint Germain have reportedly identified Rodrigo Mora, the 18 year old Portuguese prodigy from FC Porto as their next major investment for the future.
According to Fichajes, PSG view the teenager — currently valued at around €70 million as long term project designed to secure the club’s next generation of stars and maintain their dominance both domestically and in Europe.
After achieving their long awaited Champions League triumph, PSG’s board are shifting focus from short term glory to sustainable squad building.
The club’s internal reports describe Mora as core element of PSG’s next chapter , symbolising post Mbappe era focused on continuity and smart renewal.
Mora a graduate of Porto’s academy is considered one of the most technically gifted young players in Europe. His vision, ball control and creativity have drawn comparisons to Joao Felix in his early years but with stronger physical profile.
FC Porto remain firm on their position. Mora’s new contract includes release clause close to €70 million , a clear message to suitors that any deal will require full payment.
The club acknowledge that departure could happen in the future but only under the right conditions , both financially & developmentally.
