In Thursday's press conference, Lions coach Pape Thiaw made it clear: Senegal is determined to convince Robinho Vaz.
Following the successful recruitment of Ibrahim Mbaye (Paris SG) and Mamadou Sarr (Strasbourg), Senegal is now setting its sights on another promising dual-national talent. The focus is on Robinho Vaz, who has caught the keen interest of coach Pape Thiaw. The coach confirmed that discussions are underway with the family of the Olympique de Marseille striker.
"I went to watch him in Marseille, it's true. He's a young player with great potential. I know the whole country wants him. From the start, I've been in contact with his family. Talks are ongoing. We'll see how things develop," he told the media after unveiling the squad list for the friendly matches against Brazil and Kenya.
