This Saturday, Robert Lewandowski confirmed he will no longer continue at Barcelona, putting an end to a four-year stint in Catalonia, during which he has scored as many as 119 goals.
It was a difficult decision to make for the Pole, who had gotten quite fond of living life in Barcelona and was close to each and every member of the team.
Lewandowski was handed a renewal offer, but his agent, Pini Zahavi, has confirmed that the player did not even listen to the proposal.

In a recent interview with 365scoresarabic (h/t Diario SPORT), Zahavi, who has a great relationship with Joan Laporta, stated that Lewandowski was hell-bent on leaving.
That meant he never truly considered Barcelona’s renewal proposal, as he wanted a new adventure elsewhere.
“Robert Lewandowski did not reject the proposal to extend his contract with FC Barcelona, but he wanted to take on a new challenge and that is what he has done,” he said.

With his spell at Barcelona almost done and dusted – the player will feature in his last home game against Real Betis – the player has several offers to choose from.
Clubs from the MLS have approached him, while Saudi Arabia remains interested as well, as confirmed by Zahavi himself.
“Clubs from the United States and Saudi Arabia have shown interest, and the final decision will be made at the end of the season,” he said.
The report cites local media in Poland, which claims Lewandowski is set for a move to Saudi Arabia this summer, though it is not exactly known which club he would join.
