AJ Auxerre welcome back Elisha Owusu, Sékou Mara, Francisco Sierralta, Sinaly Diomandé and Josué Casimir for Sunday’s Ligue 1 trip to Brest in matchday 17, kick-off 17:15. According to L'Équipe, all five have recovered from injury.

They remain without attackers Danny Namaso and Lassine Sinayoko, away with Cameroon and Mali respectively at the Africa Cup of Nations, and midfielder Oussama El-Azzouzi, who serves the second match of his suspension. Central defender Telli Siwe is not yet ready to return.

Owusu, the captain and midfielder, comes back after five missed matches, including four in the league.

The fixture follows AJA’s 2-1 home defeat by Monaco in the 32nd round of the Coupe de France on 21 December.

Coach Christophe Pelissier said the squad should be a little deeper now and he hopes that remains the case.
