According to L'Équipe, the planned friendly between Paris FC and Auxerre has been cancelled at Auxerre’s request.

Both sides now have only one warm-up before Ligue 1 restarts on the weekend of 22-23 August.

Late last week, Auxerre informed Paris FC they could no longer travel for the Wednesday fixture.

The proximity to their match against Werder Bremen on Saturday, 14:30, is understood to have prompted the decision.

Paris FC sought an alternative opponent, then opted against arranging one.

Their final preparation game will be at Angers on Saturday, 17:30, and will reunite them with Stéphane Gilli, the former Paris coach now leading SCO this season.
