Ajax came from behind to beat Villarreal to claim their first Champions League win of the season.

Villarreal looked set for their first win of the campaign when Tani Oluwaseyi volleyed the ball home just four minutes after the break. But the Dutch side fought back.

Oscar Oscar Gloukh curled a stunning free-kick into the top corner on 61 minutes, before Oliver Edvardsen, set up by Anton Gaaei, scored a dramatic 90th-minute winner.

The result gives Ajax back-to-back European wins and six points in total, leaving them in 31st place with a final league-phase game at home to Galatasaray to keep play-off hopes alive.

Villarreal, meanwhile, remain winless in Europe despite sitting third in La Liga.
