Ajax interested in signing Yves Bissouma

Free agent Yves Bissouma could be on his way to the Eredivisie with Ajax said to be keen on the midfielder.

The 30-year-old left Tottenham Hotspur this summer following 111 games in four seasons for the North London club who he joined from Brighton & Hove Albion for a reported £30 million in the summer of 2022.

According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Ajax technical director Jordi Cruyff is said to be keen on adding Bissouma to his side's team, who are currently managed by former Girona boss Míchel.

Ajax have already had a busy summer which has seen numerous new arrivals including the likes of Marc-André ter Stegen, Sofyan Amrabat, Julian Brandt, and Simon Adingra. The Amsterdam club are currently fifth in the Eredivisie, six points behind leaders PSV but with a game in hand.
