Al-Ahli are in talks with AS Monaco to sign 19-year-old midfielder Pape Cabral.
L’Équipe reports that Monaco have been contacted and talks have moved quickly, with a deal worth about €10m possible.
Monaco had a hectic deadline day, attempting to move on either Folarin Balogun or Lamine Camara, but neither move materialised.
Balogun could yet depart, with the markets in Türkiye and Saudi Arabia still open, although Cabral is the one attracting interest from the latter.
Cabral signed a contract extension until 2031 in the summer and had been viewed as a potential first-team option this season. He is now seemingly nearing an exit from Stade Louis II.
