Al Ahly announced that star midfielder Emam Ashour has been diagnosed with Hepatitis A forcing him into hospital treatment for 3 day.

Following the diagnosis, the club’s medical staff carried out comprehensive tests on all players, coaches and staff to prevent any risk of spreading the infection.

Doctors also reviewed Ashour’s recent meals to trace the cause of the illness. Symptoms such as abdominal pain & stomach upset raised concerns about contaminated food or water.
