Al-Hilal extend club-record league run to 47 with Al-Shabab win | OneFootball

Al-Hilal beat neighbours Al-Shabab 2-0 at the SHG Arena on Friday in round five of the Roshn League, extending their unbeaten Saudi Pro League run to 47, the longest in the club's history.

As reported by Goal.com, the victory keeps them within reach of their rivals' historic benchmark.

The sequence began in November 2024 with a 2-1 win away to Al-Shabab. Since then they have collected 35 wins and 12 draws.

Al-Hilal are now four matches from matching Al-Ahli's all-time Saudi league mark of 51, set between January 2014 and February 2016.

Their next Roshn League fixtures are against Neom, Al-Taawoun, Al-Ittihad and Al-Riyadh. A fifth outing, versus Al-Hazm, could see them stand alone with the record.

They have not lost in the Saudi Pro League since Italian coach Simone Inzaghi arrived before the start of last season. He has overseen 39 matches, winning 30 and drawing nine.
