Saudi Arabian runners-up Al-Hilal have begun work on a deal for Luis Diaz, but Bayern Munich currently have no intention of selling, according to L'Équipe.

Having already completed the signing of Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville for more than €60m, Al-Hilal have turned to another major target. They are seeking a leading striker and have made the Colombian their priority.

Diaz is on holiday following the World Cup and has been receptive to a move. The Saudi club were preparing an opening offer worth at least €70m.

They will still need to convince Bayern, who have indicated they do not plan to part with the player at this stage.

Diaz is coming off an excellent Bundesliga season and has three years remaining on his contract in Bavaria.
