Diaz scored 26 goals and assisted 23 more, as Bayern secured a domestic double. Al-Hilal have a long-standing interest in the Colombian and made an effort to sign Diaz last summer, prior to his move to Munich from Liverpool.

According toSky Germany, Diaz has no intention of leaving the Allianz Arena and is happy at Bayern.

"Coming to Bayern was the correct decision. I am very happy, and I enjoy every game," he told Movistar+ in April.

"There were talks, as is typical in the transfer market, with several teams. There were talks with Barcelona, that's true. That's usually what drives the market, but I'm very calm about my decision and I made it very objectively, considering what was coming up for my future, which was very important. I'm very happy to be at Bayern, it's a great club. I made an objective decision about my future."

Bayern Munich chief Jan-Christian Dreesen has also addressed the rumours and said the German side would be 'stupid' to sell Diaz.

“We'd be stupid if we sell Diaz, wouldn't we? We have such a fantastic squad, honestly. Let's just get the season underway and start scoring some goals!” he told Kicker.

Al-Hilal have already signed Crysencio Summerville from West Ham in a deal that could reach £68m and have opened talks with Everton for Iliman Ndiaye.
