Al-Hilal open Almajdiah Sport Hub as new first team base | OneFootball

Al-Hilal have opened the Almajdiah Sport Hub, a new first team headquarters at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, as preparations intensify for 2026/27.

According to AlHilal, the facility strengthens the club’s sports infrastructure strategy. Senior figures from the club, the university and Almajdiah attended the inauguration.

Covering 56,000 square metres, the complex has two pitches, a performance centre, recovery facilities, a medical clinic, meeting rooms, a hotel camp, offices and a media centre.

Designed after benchmarking leading centres and assessing staff needs, it integrates solutions from Al-Hayat Investment Company via Sporta, including a hyperbaric chamber, anti-gravity treadmill, Himalayan salt sauna and red light therapy.

A hypoxic hall can simulate altitude and climate by controlling oxygen, temperature and humidity, enabling tailored programmes that boost respiratory efficiency, endurance and recovery.

The first team will train there on Friday evening after a three-day break on return from their Austria camp. Al-Hilal host Al-Faisaly next Friday at the Kingdom Arena.

Chairman Prince Nawaf bin Saad said the opening reflects a commitment to the highest international standards and support for players and staff, adding that the hub’s proximity to players’ homes, King Khalid International Airport and Kingdom Arena should aid readiness.
