According to Arriyadiyah, Al Hilal will await a medical report next week to decide whether injured defender Hassan Tambakti can face Al Ahli in the Saudi Roshn Pro League Clasico.

The club’s medical and coaching staff are working to build his fitness and sharpness ahead of the game.

He is not expected to feature against Al Khaleej in Dammam in the fourth round, with his recovery still incomplete.

The Saudi Pro League has rearranged Al Hilal’s next two fixtures as Al Ahli prepare to play Auckland City in the Intercontinental Cup opener tomorrow, Wednesday. Al Hilal will now visit Al Khaleej next Friday, then meet Al Ahli in the third round on the first of next September.

Tambakti is recovering from a lower heel injury sustained with Saudi Arabia at the 2026 World Cup finals, which ended last July.

The setback ruled him out of the Austria training camp and league matches against Al Faisaly and Al Feiha, plus the King’s Cup round of 32 tie with Al Raed. Since joining in summer 2023, he has made 103 appearances for Al Hilal, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
