Al Hilal ‘to ready’ Ollie Watkins for Al Ahli Clasico | OneFootball

Arriyadiyah reports that Simone Inzaghi has drawn up a tailored programme for Ollie Watkins ahead of the Al Ahli Clasico. The 30-year-old is due to fly into Riyadh by private plane on Friday evening with a view to being added to the capital club's squad.

The Saudi Pro League has rearranged Al Hilal's next two fixtures, with the change made as Al Ahli prepared to face Auckland in the FIFA Club World Cup opener on Wednesday.

Al Hilal will now meet Al Khaleej on Friday in round four, then play Al Ahli on the first of September in their round three match.

On Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano said on X that Al Hilal had reached agreement on all the details of a deal to sign Watkins. He added that Aston Villa had accepted 58.4 million euros plus two million euros in add-ons and that the striker would travel to Saudi Arabia this week.

The Clasico is scheduled for next Tuesday at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, part of the Roshn League campaign.
